Aujourd'hui, une belle carte de Norvège. La ville de montagne de Røros est une ville minière. Elle est parfois appelée Bergstaden qui signifie «la ville minière" en raison des célèbres, et anciennes, mines de cuivre.
Grâce à ses bâtiments en bois authentiques, Røros a été inscrite sur la liste du Patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO en 1980.
La carte postale montre le service extérieur durant la nuit de Noël 2009. La messe de Noël dans la neige doit être impressionnante ... brrr
Today, a beautiful card from Norway. The moutain city of Røros is a mining town. It is sometimes called Bergstaden which means "the mining town" due to its historical notoriety for copper mining.
With its authentic wooden buildings, Røros was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list in 1980.
The postcard shows the outdoor service during the Christmas night 2009. The Christmas mass in the snow should be impressive... brrr
