Aujourd’hui une carte venue de France mais représentant la ville algérienne de Djanet. Cette ville située à 2300 km d’Alger est la principale ville du Sahara algérien avec 10 000 habitants. C’est une oasis dans le Tassili des Ajjers, qui est un massif montagneux situé dans le sud est algérien non loin de la frontière avec la Libye. L'oasis est peuplée essentiellement de Touaregs ajjers (ou azjar).
Today a postcard from France but representing the Algerian town of Djanet. This city located 2300 km far from Algiers is the largest city in the Algerian Sahara with 10,000 inhabitants. It is an oasis in the Tassili Ajjers, which is a mountain located in south eastern Algeria not far from the border with Libya. The oasis is populated mainly by Tuaregs Ajjers (or Azjar).
