Le Bolchoï

Cette carte montre le Théâtre du Bolchoï à Moscou. L'histoire de ce théâtre commence le 28 Mars 1776, quand l'impératrice Catherine II a accordé au Prince Piotr Ouroussov le «privilège» d'organiser des représentations théâtrales, des mascarades, des bals et autres formes de divertissements pour une période de dix ans. Le Théâtre Petrovsky a ouvert le 30 Décembre 1780. C'était le premier théâtre public de cette taille et de cette beauté érigé à Moscou. À l'automne 1805, le Petrovsky Théâtre brûle. Il a été reconstruit et réouvrert en 1825. Le nouveau théâtre était beaucoup plus grand que son prédécesseur, il a vite été surnommé le Grand Théâtre (Bolchoï) Petrovsky. Le dernier spectacle du Théâtre Impérial du Bolchoï a eu lieu le 28 Février 1917. Et, après la Révolution, le 13 Mars 1917, le Théâtre d'Etat du Bolchoï a ouvert ses portes au public.

This card shows the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. The history of this theatre begins on 28 March 1776 when Empress Catherine II signed and granted the Prince Pyotr Urusov the 'privilege' of organizing theatre performances, masquerades, balls and other forms of entertainment for a period of ten years. The Petrovsky Theatre opened on 30 December 1780. It was the first public Theatre building of such size and beauty to be erected in Moscow. In the autumn of 1805, the Petrovsky Theatre building burnt down. It was rebuilt and open again in 1825. It was much bigger than its predecessor it was known as the Big (Bolshoi) Petrovsky Theatre. The last performance at the Imperial Bolshoi Theatre took place on 28 February 1917. And, after the Revolution, on 13 March 1917 the State Bolshoi Theatre opened its doors to the public.
