Schönbrunn

Le château de Schönbrunn est l'ancienne résidence impériale d'été à Vienne, en Autriche. Il est inscrit au patrimoine mondial et culturel de l'Autriche et, depuis les années 1960, c'est l'une des principales attractions touristiques de Vienne et le monument le plus visité. Le palais est une sorte de synthèse de différents arts baroq. Composé d'un palais et de jardins, Schönbrunn a été la possession des Habsbourg pendant des siècles, il est aujourd'hui en grande partie dans son état d'origine historique. Le nom de Schönbrunn a ses racines dans un puits artésien dont l'eau était consommée par la court impériale.

Schönbrunn Palace is the former imperial summer residence in Vienna, Austria. It is part of the World Cultural Heritage and Austria's and since the 1960s, it has been one of the major tourist attractions in Vienna and the most visited sight. This Baroque synthesis of different arts, consisting of a palace and gardens, has been in the possession of the Habsburgs for centuries, and is today largely in its original historical condition. The name Schönbrunn (meaning "beautiful spring"), has its roots in an artesian well from which water was consumed by the court.

Hallstatt

Hallstatt is known for its production of salt, dating back to prehistoric times, and gave its name to the Hallstatt culture. The village also gave its name to the early Iron Age Hallstatt culture and is a World Heritage Site for Cultural Heritage.

Schloss Eggenberg

Une carte postale d'Autriche. Le château d'Eggenberg, ou Schloss Eggenberg en allemand, se situe à Graz, en Styrie. Le Schloss Eggenberg est l'un des lieux culturels les plus connus d'Autriche. En 2010, le château d'Eggenberg a été reconnu comme un des sites du patrimoine culturel mondial par l'UNESCO.

Le premier château médiéval a été construit après 1460. Le palais baroque, qui est si magnifique, est l'œuvre d'un architecte italien de la Renaissance, Giovanni Pietro de Pomis pour un diplomate, le duc Hans Ulrich von Eggenberg, en 1625.

Freistadt

Aujourd’hui, une carte postale d'Autriche, de Freistadt (ville libre), une petite ville se trouvant en Haute-Autriche, pas très loin de la frontière tchèque, à environ 40 km de Linz et qui compte environ 7500 habitants.
Fondée en 1220, Freistadt était une une ville médiévale se trouvant sur la voie commerciale qui reliait la Bohême à l'Autriche.
Au moyen Age, c’était un carrefour de la route du sel et du commerce du fer entre le Danube et la Bohême. En profitant de plusieurs privilèges (tous les commerçants devaient payer pour avoir le droit de traverser la ville) et de sa position stratégique, la ville a vite fait fortune.

Today, a postcard from Freistadt, a small Austrian town, in the state of Upper Austria, not far from the Czech border, 40 km from Linz, with a population of approximately 7,500 residents.
Freistadt was an old medieval town (founded around 1220) that separated the Habsburg and Bohemian lands. It was a crossroad of the salt and iron trade route during the Middle Ages from the Danube to Bohemia. Enjoying more privileges (all merchants had to pay for the privilege of crossing the city) and its strategic location, the city is fast fortune.
