Le Bund est un boulevard, long de 1,5 kilomètres, jalonné de somptueux édifices de style européen et de banques ou de compagnies coloniales des années 1930.
Il comprend une douzaine de bâtiments historiques datant de l'époque des concessions internationales .
Sur la carte on voit la tour de l’horloge de l’édifice des douanes ; A sa gauche, l’ancien bâtiment de la Hong Kong et Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) ; Au centre, avec le toit pointu vert, le Peace hôtel, et juste à droite de l’hôtel, la Bank of China.
