Voici ma première carte postale d'Inde. Je suis très heureux d'ajouter un pays à ma collection. Elle montre la citerne à eau de Hampi. Hampi est un village dans le nord de l'Etat de Karnataka en Inde, où se situent les ruines de Vijayanagar, l'ancienne capitale de l'Empire Vijayanagar. Hampi formait l'un des principaux centres de la capitale de l'Empire Vijayanagar de 1336 à 1565. Le site est important tant historiquement qu'architecturalement. Hampi continue d'être un important centre religieux. Les ruines sont classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.
This is my first postcard from India. I'm very happy to add a country to my collection. This is the water tank in Hampi. Hampi is a village in northern Karnataka state in India, located within the ruins of Vijayanagara, the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. It formed one of the core areas of the capital of the Vijayanagara Empire from 1336 to 1565. The site is significant historically and architecturally. Hampi continues to be an important religious centre. The ruins are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
