Cette carte vient de Russie. Elle vient enrichir ma collection de cartes de sites inscrits au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Kizhi Pogost se trouve en République de Carélie. Il s'agit d'un site historique datant du 17ème siècle situé sur l'île de Kizhi, sur le lac Onega. Le pogost a été construit, exclusivement en bois, sur une colline. Le pogost comprend un clocher et deux églises en bois : l'une avec 22 dômes nommée église de la Transfiguration et l'Église de l'Intercession qui compte 9 coupoles.
This card is coming from Russia. This is a new UNESCO WHS card on my collection. Kizhi Pogost in the Republic of Karelia. It is a historical site dating from the 17th century on Kizhi island, on Lake Onega. The pogost was built, exclusively of wood, on a hill. The pogost includes a bell-tower and two wooden churches: one with 22 domes named Transfiguration Church and The Intercession Church with 9 domes.
