Cette carte postale vient de Kernavė, une petite ville située en Lituanie, qui fut la première capitale médiévale du Grand-Duché de Lituanie. Le roi Mindaugas y fut couronné en 1253. Aujourd'hui, c'est un site touristique et archéologique. En 2004, le site archéologique de Kernavė a été inscrit sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.
This postcard is coming from Kernavė, a small town in Lithuania, that was the first medieval capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. King Mindaugas was crowned there in 1253. Today it is a touristic and archeological site. In 2004 Kernavė Archaeological Site was included into UNESCO world heritage list.
