J'ai reçu cette belle carte de Milan en Italie. Je suis allé là bas il y a deux ou trois ans. La carte montre La Scala (Teatro alla Scala). C'est le théatre-opéra de Milan, il est aussi reconnu comme l'un des plus grands opéras du Monde. La Scala a été inaugurée le 3 août 1778.
La saison à la Scala débute traditionnellement le jour de la Saint Ambroise (7 décembre). Et une des originalités est que tous les spectacles doivent se terminer avant minuit, les opéras trop longs commençent plus tôt dans la soirée si nécessaire.
I have received a beautiful card from Milan in Italy. I went there few years ago. The postcard shows La Scala (Teatro alla Scala). It is the opera theater of Milan, but it is recognised as one of the leading opera in the World. La Scala was inaugurated on 3 August 1778.
La Scala's season traditionally opens on Saint Ambrose's Day (7 december). And an originality is that all performances must end before midnight, and long operas start earlier in the evening when necessary.
