Une magnifique vue de Sukhothaï en Thaïlande. Sukhothaï fut la première capitale du Siam (Thaïlande) fondée en 1238. Elle se situe à 600 kilomètres au nord de l’actuelle capitale Bangkok. Sukhothaï est aujourd'hui une ville en ruines mais possédant encore de nombreux vestiges de temples. Sukhothaï a été inscrite au patrimoine mondial de l'humanité en 1991. J'ai eu le plaisir de visiter Sukhothaï il y a quelques années en chars à boeufs !
A magnificent view of Sukhothai in Thailand. Sukhothai was the first capital of Siam (Thailand), established in 1238. It is located 600 km north of the actual capital Bangkok. Sukhothai is now a city in ruins but still has many vestiges of temples. Sukhothai is on the World Heritage UNESCO list since 1991. I had the pleasure of visiting Sukhothai a few years ago in bullock carts!
